  • DK yarn in light blue, blue, black, white & yellow colors 
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook 
  • tapestry needle 
  • scissors 
  • polyester or fiber stuffing 
  • small toy eyes for the cap

Body of the Kirby: 

With light blue yarn, start working in a magic ring. work in rounds, do not slst. 

R1: 6 sc 

R2: sc inc x 6 (12 sc) 

R3: “sc, sc inc” x 6 (18 sc) 

R4: “2 sc, sc inc” x 6 (24 sc) 

R5: “3 sc, sc inc” x 6 (30 sc) 

R6: “4 sc, sc inc” x 6 (36 sc) 

R7: “5 sc, sc inc” x 6 (42 sc) 

R8-14: 1 sc in each st across the round. (42 sc) 

R15: “5 sc, sc dec” x 6 (36 sc) 

R16: “4 sc, sc dec” x 6 (30 sc) 

R17: “3 sc, sc dec” x 6 (24 sc) 

R18: “2 sc, sc dec” x 6 (18 sc) 

Stop here and stuff the body. 

R19: “sc, sc dec” x 6 (12 sc) 

R20: sc dec x 6 

Cut the yarn by leaving a long tail. 

Use this tail to sew the end close.

Arms x 2: 

With light blue yarn, start with ch 4. Work in rounds slst at the end of the round. 

R1: skip 1st st (do not count), 2 sc, sc inc, (working on the other side of the round) 1 sc, 1 sc in 1st ch. slst. (6 sc) 

R2: ch1, 1 sc inc, sc, sc inc x 2, sc, sc inc. slst (10 sc) 

R3-4: ch1, 1 sc in each st across the round. (10 sc) 

Cut the yarn by leaving a long tail.

Feet x 2: 

With blue yarn, start with ch 6. Work in rounds slst at the end of the round. 

R1: skip 1st st (do not count), sc inc, 3 sc, 2 sc in last st, (working on the other side of the round) 3 sc, 1 sc in 1st ch. slst. (11 sc) 

R2: ch1, 1 sc, sc inc, 3 sc, sc inc, sc inc, 3 sc, sc inc. slst (15 sc) 

R3-6: ch1, 1 sc in each st across the round. (15 sc) 

R7: ch1, “sc, sc dec” x 5. slst. (10 sc) 

R8: ch1, 1sc in each st. 

stop here and stuff the foot. 

R9: ch1, “sc, sc dec”, rep across the round. 

R10: 1 sc in each st. 

Cut the yarn by leaving a long tail. 

Eyes x 2: 

With white yarn, work in the magic ring. 

R1: 6 sc. slst in 1st sc (6 sc) 

cut the white yarn. start working with black yarn. 

R2: ch1, “1 sc inc” x 6. slst (12 sc)

Feet: sew feet on the bottom of the body. Consider the last rounds to be the bottom of the body. 

Arms: stuff the arms and sew from the Round 11 to round 14 . 

Eyes: Pin the eyes on the head and sew eyes as shown in the video. 

Smile: With black yarn and tapestry needle, embroider the smile on the face as shown in the video. 

Cap for the amigurumi: 

With yellow yarn, start with the magic ring. 

R1-7: rep R1-7 from Body. 

R8-10: 1 sc in each st. 

R11: “2 hdc, hdc inc” x 5, 2 hdc. turn. (22 hdc) 

R12: ch1, hdc dce, 18 hdc, hdc dec. turn (20 hdc) 

R13: 1 sc in each st across the cap. slst. 

Cut the yarn and weave it in the ends. 

Fix eyes in the cap.
