3.5 & 4 mm crochet hook
Black Embroidery thread
stitch markers (if needed), scissors

Abbreviations:
ch(s) – chain(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
inc – increase
dec – decrease
slst – slip stitch
x, rep – repeat
special Stitch:
5 dc shell stitch: make 1 single crochet, skip 2 stitches, make 5 double crochets in the same stitch, skip 2 stitches, make 1 single crochet. keep repeating the sequence.
Size:
The blanket is 12 inches long and 12 inches wide. this is a square-shaped blanket. The bunny head is stitched in the center of the blanket.

Blanket:
With pink yarn work in the magic ring.
R1: 12 dc, slst
R2: “3dc, ch3” x 4, slst (12 sc)
change the yarn to grey.
R3: 1 dc in each st, “3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc” in each ch space. slst (24 dc)
With pink yarn.
R4-16: rep the sequence of R3
Rep the sequence from R 3-6 till the required length.
We have a total of 16 rounds. If you want a bigger size add more rounds. Do not cut the yarn.
Edge: Skip 2 sts, shell st in 3rd st, skip next 2 sts, slst in next st, keep repeating the sequence,
in ch 2 sp on the corners work 7 dc, skip 1 st, slst in next st.
Bunny Ears x 4:
With pink yarn make 5 chs
R1: skip 1st ch, 4 sc, turn
R2: sc inc, 2 sc, sc inc. turn (6 sc)
R3: 6 sc.
R4: sc inc, 4 sc, sc inc. turn (8 sc)
R5-10: 8 sc.
R11: sc dec, 4 sc, sc dec. turn (6 sc)
R12: 6 sc.
R13: sc dec, 2 sc, sc dec. turn (4 sc)
R14: 4 sc.
R15: sc, sc dec, sc. turn (3 sc)
ch1, make a round of sc on the edges.
cut the yarn by leaving a long tail, we’ll later use this tail to sew ears with the jumper and bunny.
Sew 2 ears with the jumper’s hood.

Bunny Head:
With pink yarn work in the magic ring. Do not slst
R1: 6 sc
R2: sc inc x 6 (12 sc)
R3: “sc, sc inc x 6” (18 sc)
R4: “2 sc, sc inc x 6” (24 sc)
R5: “3 sc, sc inc x 6” (30 sc)
R6: “4 sc, sc inc x 6” (36 sc)
R7-13: 36 sc.
Stop here and draw the eyes and nose in R8.
R14: “4 sc, sc dec x 6” (30 sc)
R15: “3 sc, sc dec x 6” (24 sc)
R16: “2 sc, sc dec x 6” (18 sc)
Stuff the head.
R17: “sc, sc dec x 6” (12 sc)
slst in the next st, cut the yarn.

Bunny Arms:
With pink yarn work in the magic ring. Do not slst
R1: 6 sc
R2: sc inc x 6 (12 sc)
R3: “sc, sc inc x 6” (18 sc)
R4-8: 18 sc.
R9: “4 sc, sc dec x 3” (15 sc)
R10-11: 15 sc.
R12: “3 sc, sc dec x 3” (12 sc)
R13-15: 12 sc.
slst in the next st, cut the yarn.

Join the bunny arms in 2nd round as shown.

Sew the head in the center of the blanket. Sew the ears on the bunny head.
